Mary Anne Cataldi

Mary Anne Cataldi, Professional Artist Visual Arts, Film Animation & Computer Illustration Teacher Mary Anne Cataldi holds a Type 10, K-12 Visual Arts Teaching License in both Indiana and Illinois and a K-12 Arts, AV, and Communications License in Computer Illustration & Graphics in Indiana. Mary Anne earned her BFA from Earlham College, Teaching Certificate from Loyola University, and Masters in Education from Purdue University. Additional fine art, animation, and computer illustration courses have been completed at the University of Chicago (portraiture), the American Academy of Art (life drawing), the Art Institute of Houston (Commercial Design), Chicago’s Hubbard Street Digital Boot Camp (film animation), and independent oneon-one training in Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator with professionals in the field of Film Animation and Illustration. Mary Anne originally studied art and biology intending to become a Medical Illustrator. Study on a foreign exchange program in Rodez, FRANCE and work as a graphic artist in Rome ITALY changed her career ambitions. Painting, drawing, exhibiting, and teaching have become the main focus of her life. Mary Anne resides in Chicago where she paints professionally.
